The grassland calendar is a commonly used tool to register grassland management. In the Farmmaps Grassland calendar grassland management such as grazing, fodder production, fertilization and irrigation are registered with GEO-information. Upon a map a field, or a group of fields, can be selected and management or measurement registered.

Troughout the year it is possible to register upon a part of a field by drawing the specific area on the map. By this technique also strip grazing and the fresh grass feeding over summer can be registered in an accurate way.

Registration forms can be approached via the calendar or via the crop registration app..The registered activities are shown in the grassland calendar; the activities registered at a whole field and the activities registered at a part of a field.

  • At registration it is obligatory to fill out the day. Other data are optional e.g. time during the day and sample numbers.
  • At grazing pre-grazing, post-grazing and animal group can be recorded.
  • At fertilization the product, the applied amount and the method of application can be recorded. It is also to possible to register a new product.
  • At harvest yield, additive, batch and storage can be recorded.
  • At irrigation the amount of applied water can be recorded.

The application Grassland calendar is connected with GrassSignal and Grip-on-Grass.
