How does the BlightApp work?

(yellow) shortly before a predicted risk of infection. If you spray after infection, you will get advice for a curative spray (orange) or a stop spray (red).

If desired, the BlightApp also advises you on risks of tuber infection and oospores. The clear color coding makes the advice clear at a glance:

The BlightApp only recommends spraying if necessary. You will be advised not to spray if possible. This results in a minimal, (cost-) efficient and responsible pesticide use.

The BlightApp takes the growth of the crop into account. In the rapid growth phase, You can adjust the disease pressure depending on your local situation.

The properties of various fungicides are also included in the BlightApp. Examples are properties on protection of foliage, new growth, tubers and rain resistance.

Crop protection is highly subject to change. The BlightApp is therefore continuously updated.

Internationally tested

The BlightApp has been tested and validated on a large number of locations in Europe, South America, North America, Africa and Asia.
